Your First Visit

Your child’s first visit with us may include some or all of the following:

  • Comprehensive oral examination
  • Full mouth digital x-rays
  • Oral hygiene instruction
  • Teeth cleaning
  • Fluoride varnish application
  • One-on-one consultation with our dentist to discuss needs, concerns, goals, and treatment options

During your visit, we will answer any and all questions about your child’s oral health. We will provide a detailed financial consultation to ensure the treatments are timed effectively and affordably.

Office Policies

We schedule young children (4 years and younger) in the morning (8:00 am – 12:30 pm).

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment or a $50 fee may be charged if the appointment is cancelled within 48 hours or the appointment is missed.

Insurance and Billing

We accept cash, checks, most major credit cards, and CareCredit financing. Payment for treatment is due at the time of service.

We will submit to your insurance and collect the estimated copay based on the insurance information that we have, but every insurance is different and after the insurance has paid their portion, there may still be money owed for the services. After the bill is sent from our office for any remaining balance, you will have 30 days to pay the balance. If the balance is not paid within 30 days of the sent bill, 1.5% interest will be added to the account each month until the balance is paid.

Please understand that we do not have a contract with your dental insurance, only you do. We file the claims to your insurance as a courtesy. Thus, we are not responsible for services that the insurance does not pay. You are responsible for understanding what your insurance covers, what your deductible is for your insurance, and your remaining coverage throughout the year. We can only estimate what you will owe for treatment but cannot guarantee what your insurance will pay.

Please let us know if there are any changes with your dental insurance.
